Rochester Community and Technical College is proud to announce its Outstanding Educator for 2024, Bonnie Robinson. Robinson, an English instructor, has been teaching at RCTC since 2004.
A student nominating Ms. Robinson wrote, “Professor Robinson is very communicative, even with her online students. She provides insightful and balanced feedback that serves to bolster students’ strengths while also helping them to improve in areas they are found to be lacking in.”
“Professor Robinson is passionate about her role as an educator, with a strong focus on creating welcoming learning environments for all students,” said RCTC Dean of Liberal Arts and General Studies, Brenda Frame, Ed.D. “She emphasizes active learning and continually assesses and adjusts her teaching methods to meet the evolving needs of her students.”
As a full-time faculty member, Bonnie Robinson will have her extensive portfolio forwarded to the Minnesota State Board of Trustees as a finalist for the Board of Trustees Award for Excellence and will be honored along with colleagues from across the state at a system-wide celebration in April of 2025.
Instructors were nominated by faculty, students, and staff.
