Rochester Community and Technical College is proud to announce more than 900 students received scholastic achievement recognition for Spring Semester including 320 qualifying for the Dean’s List, 300 for the President’s List, and a total of 305 students qualifying for the High Academic Achievement List.
“RCTC celebrates our students who not only demonstrated a commitment to their education through their excellent academic performance but also their persistence and stamina during one of the most challenging semesters in the history of higher education,” said Dr. Teresa L. Brown, Interim Vice President of Student Affairs. “RCTC congratulates these students on this well-deserved honor!”
Students earning a grade point average of 3.5 or higher are recognized on the Dean’s list, the President’s List or the High Academic Achievement List. The qualifications for each category of academic achievement are as follows:
- President’s List: Students must have completed 12 credits or more for the same semester with a 4.0 GPA.
- Dean’s List: Students must have completed 12 credits or more for the same semester with a 3.5 – 3.99 GPA.
- High Academic Achievement: Students must have completed 9-11 credits for the same semester with a 3.5-4.0 GPA.
