The year’s best work by RCTC art and design students is on display at the East Hall Art Gallery until April 7. A reception and awards ceremony is set for Thursday, March 30, from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
Seventy student pieces were accepted for the annual event, said gallery director Crist Dahl. Those pieces represent a variety of genres, including painting, drawing, photography, 3D, mixed media and digital prints.
Dahl noted that a different guest juror is selected annually. This year’s pieces were judged by Pamela Hugdahl, director of the Rochester Art Center. Hugdahl will speak briefly at the March 30 reception.
