Two RCTC students have been awarded prestigious Jack Kent Cooke Foundation scholarships. Sarah Brakebill-Hacke and Munira Alimire are the 2018 finalists in the national scholarship program, which annually awards $40,000 for up to three years to 60 selected students pursuing bachelor’s degrees.
This January, $15,000 was awarded to six high school seniors or first-year RCTC students through the RCTC Foundation’s 18th annual Beat the Odds scholarship program.
On June 30, RCTC Interim President Dr. Mary Davenport will be retiring, ending her 30 years of service in Minnesota higher education.
