Find the new lunch option in the Heintz Commons area.

Having trouble finding lunch in the Heintz Center?
Look no more. Boxed lunches are now served in the Commons area from noon to 1 p.m. every day. They include a sandwich, chips and a piece of fruit or cookie for just $6 cash.
The addition of bagged lunches was necessitated by a lack of staff who previously cooked and served signature concepts, grab-and-go options, and drinks at Fresh Stop Cafe, said Teresa Brown, vice president of student affairs. That left hungry students going to vending machines where options were limited to popcorn, brownies and candy.
While students must pay for the boxed lunches with cash, Brown said her team is working to accept credit cards soon.
