Rochester Community and Technical College graduated 955 students during its 101st annual commencement ceremony at the Rochester Regional Sports Center.

One hundred and thirty-eight students graduated with honors (GPA 3.5 through 3.749), while 163 graduated with high honors (GPA 3.75 and higher).

The keynote speaker for the event was 2009 RCTC graduate Tiffany Hunsley, executive director of Recovery is Happening, an addiction recovery program and support organization she founded.

“Never forget how far you have come, everything you have gotten through, all the times you have pushed on, even when you felt like you couldn’t, all the mornings you got out of bed no matter how hard it was, all of the times you wanted to give up but you pushed through another day,” Hunsley said during her address.

The ceremony, held May 11 in the Rochester Regional Sports Center, was streamed live and can now be viewed online at www.rctc.edu/graduation/graduation-commencement.html
