RCTC’s Isiah Walker (21) and Lane Canny (19) nearly block a punt during a Minnesota College Athletic Conference Eastern Division quarterfinal game against Mesabi Range Community and Technical College on Oct. 29 at the Rochester Regional Sport Stadium. The Norsemen, the No. 3 seed in the East Division, defeated the Yellowjackets, the No. 2 seed, 30-19. RCTC had defeated Mesabi Range when they met during the regular season. The Norseman benefited from two big plays Û a 94-yard pass play and 92-yard punt return to pull off the upset. RCTC finishes the season with a 6-3 won-lost record for the second year in a row. The Yellowjackets won six straight MCAC titles from 2010 to 2015.
