Rochester Community and Technical College is honored to be awarded a Hunger Free Campus grant from the Minnesota Office of Higher Education (OHE).
RCTC was awarded $26,322.88 for its “Nourish to Flourish: The RCTC HIVE Supply Expansion Initiative” proposal. Funding from this grant will enhance food access for students at the Heintz Center campus through the expansion of the HIVE Supply food pantry. This initiative aims to address food insecurity and alleviate financial stress, making education more accessible and ensuring that students can focus on their academic success.
As part of a competitive process, a review committee of community experts evaluated proposals, ultimately awarding $447,316.98 across 24 grantees for fiscal year 2025.
