Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC) congratulates Mike Lester, RCTC Athletic Director, on being selected as an inductee into the Saint Mary’s University (SMU) Hall of Fame. This honor recognizes his exceptional coaching career and lasting contributions to SMU’s athletic program.
Before joining RCTC as Athletic Director, Lester served as the head volleyball coach at Saint Mary’s University for 18 seasons, where he built a legacy of excellence and leadership. Under his guidance, the Cardinals secured four consecutive MIAC postseason appearances (2013–2016), advancing to the semifinals in three of those years. His dedication to the program and student-athletes left a significant impact on SMU’s volleyball community.
Lester will be formally inducted into the Saint Mary’s Hall of Fame on March 22, 2025, in recognition of his commitment to athletic excellence and his influence on the university’s sports program.
