Webinar Overview

This webinar will feature two key sessions. The sessions are designed to explore both the legal boundaries of free speech and hate speech and the real-world impact of hate on our communities.

Session One: Legal Insights from the U.S. Attorney’s Office
Cindy Cipriani, Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of California, will lead this session to provide clarity on the legal distinctions between free speech and hate speech.

Session Two: Community Impact & Prevention Strategies
A diverse panel of leaders will discuss the real-world impacts of hate speech and hate crimes on marginalized communities and share strategies to build resilience and inclusivity.
