Rochester Community and Technical College and the RCTC athletic department are excited to announce Coach Terrence Isaac as the next head coach of the Yellowjacket football program. Coach Isaac has most recently served as the Head Coach and athletic coordinator at Vermilion Community College in Ely, MN.
RCTC athletic director Mike Lester said, “We are looking forward to Coach Isaac’s leadership of our football program. In addition to his abilities as a football coach, he has shown a commitment to helping his student-athletes develop as young men. He has worked to ensure his players success not only on the field, but in the classroom and community.”
Coach Isaac was a student-athlete in the MCAC as a wide receiver at Vermilion. He is very cognizant of the role junior college football played in his life and the importance of MCAC football in the futures of his student-athletes. “I’m very excited for the opportunity to lead this football team. I would like to thank Dr. Boyd, Dr Brown, and the committee for their support. Rochester has always been a first-class program and I’m happy to put my hand in the pile and continue the success that the program has enjoyed. I look forward to connecting with current student-athletes and to give them my vision for their success on the field, in the classroom, and beyond.”
RCTC President, Dr Jeffery Boyd said of Coach Isaac, “We are thrilled to welcome Coach Isaac to RCTC. Our college has a long history of excellence, and we were excited to hear his vision for our student athletes is for them to be winners on the field and in life.”
The RCTC conference football schedule is on the RCTC athletics website at: rctcyellowjackets.com. Coach Isaac and the Yellowjackets will begin spring practices later in the semester as they prepare for the 2022 season.
